        An idea I've toyed with: my own version of "xkcd",
        but instead of stick-figure drawings, work with
        my extensive collection of black cat photos.


        Or instead of *just* black cats, use the
        black cats as narrators: Figures like           (And cast
        "The Watcher" that do the introductory          judgement,
        and closing frame...                            ala Dave
                                                        Sim's "The
                                                        Judge").

            You could always give the last              BROKEN_SIMMETRY
            panel cuts to a cat, who comments
            and supplies punch-line.

    (Reducing the number of black cat photos
    you need helps dodge the "herding cats"
    problem.  If you don't have on hand the
    kind of shot you have in mind, good luck
    getting it when you need it.)
