Somewhere or other I've got some quotes
about Hamas offers of truce with
Israel provided they drop their occupation.

This kind of thing is evidently not regarded
as "recognizing Israel's right to exist",            I see it's de riguer
and the pro-Israel side continues to insist          for moderate commentators
that Hamas has sworn to destroy them.                to issue disclaimes like

You either understand that Israel is FOS             I can't do that because
or you would presume the quotes are wrong,           I have no idea what
or Hamas is lying or it doesn't really matter        "terrorist" means exactly,
because something-or-other.                          I don't know why you
                                                     wouldn't call Israel-- or
                                                     for that matter, the US--
                                                     a "terrorist country".

                                                        made, and perpetually
                                                        ignored.
