This is a point I've touched       
on here and there:                           DECULTURE
               
  The extreme difficulty of creating         BRICK
  a plausible artificial slang, and
  worse, of putting it across, of
  designing a piece of slang from              The Macross universe:
  scratch and pushing it out into
  the world and having it adopted                "Deculture!"
  and pass into common usage.
                                               In the Macross 7 series:
     Horrorshow, me droogies.
                                                 "Bomber!"
  There aren't too many examples that
  have succeeded even as well as that          Ayn Rand's _Atlas_:
  one.
                                                 "Who is John Galt?"

                                               The movie Tough Turf:

                                                 "Whoa, state of the art!"
  There have been a few attempts at
  contriving new genre names
  ("movements"):
                                         
      electroclash                       
                                      Then there's the common idea on the left 
                                      of manipulating linguistic usage to try to 
                                      modify thought...
