system, she believes there's *something else* a
higher understanding, another level--

  "I created a belief system, somehow, that there is a--
  higher order ...  in 'Horses' I called it 'the Sea of
  Possiblities'.  It's partially the collective pool of
  knowledge, but also, whatever is out there.  Whatever
  the stars give us, the planets, the gods, anybody."

  She says that "spirtuality" is a "desire for a higher
  consciousness".

  This was "so important to the Beats-- and of course,
  Beethoven, anyone!  It's not like the Beats invented
  it, but since I knew them, they were all looking for
  *more*.  Knowledge.  Not just sensation ..."


I sometimes use the phrase the "tree of possibilities"
to mean the place where we actually live, in the
