For no particular reason, I once did
a series posted to alt.gothic, where            Possibly my reasoning had to
I played roving Fashion Reporter.               do with the existance of the
                                                separate alt.goth.fashion
                CRITICAL_FASHION                newsgroup: I disliked the
                                                tendency of usenet to devolve
                HALLOWEEN_FASHION               into ever finer subdivisions.
                                                And one of the things I liked
                ROVING_FASHION                  about alt.gothic was that you
                                                could talk about absolutely
                GREEN_FASHION                   anything there. So, I was
                                                talking "fashion", but doing
                RIP_FASHION                     it on "alt.gothic"... perhaps
                                                to bring some of the agf
                                                crowd back to the fold?
